Living close to a busy dual carriage-way the noise of the heavy traffic is relentless. At night time the droning sound of traffic would make it difficult to sleep and early morning traffic would often wake us up early. After investing in double glazing Upvc windows and doors our quality of life is so much better. There are no more sleepless nights and early wake-up noises of traffic! The sound of the TV can be lowered and what we didn't bargain for was no rattling of windows in heavy wind and rain.

My wife and I recently had the windows and doors in our home replaced by Perth Double Glazing. The scope of the job included one set of French doors, four single doors, thirteen awning windows, numerous fixed panes, a bay window and roof lights. The uPVC frames and double-glazing have significantly improved the appearance and habitability of the house.

In quoting for the job Perth Double Glazing provided a very competitive and cost effective solution. Noting that quotes for single glazing solutions where at least two thirds of the cost of the quote from Perth Double Glazing, the additional cost of double-glazing was more than offset by its benefits, and the durability and maintenance benefits of the uPVC frames.

In addition to their pricing competitiveness, Perth Double Glazing provided very frank and fearless advice about the viability of, and compromises inherent in, certain window and door configurations. This very sage advice included, weather proofing and security, the best types of glass for aesthetic purposes, the thermal and noise benefits of different glass, compliance with Australian safety standards and ensuring that doors and windows met local swimming pool safety regulations where necessary. They advised against unworkable or unsafe configurations, and did not push unnecessarily costly options.

Perth Double Glazing provided a very comprehensive explanation of the process for removing the old doors and windows and installing and sealing uPVC replacements. They also commenced work on the nominated start date, and completed the full job within their estimated duration for the work. Each new window and door was fitted on the same day that the original was removed.

In addition to cleaning as they worked, the very experienced and professional installers went out of their way minimize interruptions to the household. They were meticulous in finishing each door and window for the best effect and appearance, were completely trustworthy, and a pleasure to have working in our home.
